Position Summary
Consists of, but not limited to, remotely loading and weighing trucks according to ODOT rules and Martin Marietta policies and procedures for multiple aggregate locations. Accurately enter information into ticketing system and build rapport with customers. Communicate with dispatchers, customers, owner operators, supervisors and all levels of personnel.
Essential Responsibilities
- Remotely weighing and ticketing customer trucks
- Work cooperatively with sales dept & dispatch
- Understand customers’ needs and requirements
- Answer incoming telephone calls
- Cash sales – document, verify & accurately fill out checks for customers
- Research problem tickets and properly document findings
- Convey any known customer needs and/or complaints with the appropriate people
- Maintain files for trucker’s insurance, tax exempt certificates, and overload permits.
- Assist administrator and manager as required
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge/skills, Excel, and Outlook
- Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred

- Proactive in SAFETY and works well in a team environment
- Ability to meet customers and project friendly, cooperative, and positive attitude
- Customer service focus and background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Some knowledge of legal weights & measures helpful
- Competent operating normal office equipment - copiers, fax machines, adding machines, computers, printers, etc.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends
- Must be able to sit at a computer approximately 10 hrs. a day
- Must be able to bend, stand, and crouch to handle files and related paperwork
- Must be able to communicate over CB and two-way radios

- Exposure to cement, clay, limestone, shale, and other raw materials and various chemicals, solvents and lubricants
