No previous tourism experience is required. The focus is on learning the industry, developing your expertise, and gradually building a portfolio of clients you can assist with their travel needs.

Tasks

• Complete the initial travel advisor training and certification.
• Learn how to navigate professional booking platforms and supplier systems.
• Research destinations, accommodations, transportation, and travel experiences.
• Identify options that match each client’s preferences, budget, and type of trip.
• Prepare customized quotes and travel recommendations.
• Coordinate hotels, transfers, car rentals, tours, activities, theme parks, and other eligible travel services.
• Manage reservations and maintain accurate client information.
• Provide communication and follow-up throughout the planning and booking process.
• Develop relationships with new and returning travelers.
• Continue expanding your expertise through destination and supplier training.
