Remote Swing Neuroradiologist - Southwest Medical Imaging

Position Summary

RP SMIL is seeking a fellowship-trained Neuroradiologist to join our well-established, multi-specialty practice in Scottsdale, AZ! 

• 100% Remote
• Majority of work to be in Neuroradiology (minimum 80%)
• Swing shift: 2pm-10pm (AZ Time) w/ occasional day shifts
• Schedule: 7 on / 14 off
• No Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, MSK or Interventional Radiology responsibility
• Ability to perform basic image-guided procedures such as thyroid biopsies and large joint injections.
• Shift assignment, call responsibility, and vacation allotment are all shared equally. Shared weekend work responsibilities are done from comfort of home workstation. 
• Locally-managed AI-enabled IT Platform with 24x7 IT support and a dedicated communications team, which includes Radiologist Support Coordinators (RSCs).
• PowerScribe, InteleRad, and Epic support an efficient, connected workflow across reporting, imaging, and clinical systems
• Salary plus comprehensive benefit package – base salary plus productivity bonuses
• Partnership track option + additional shareholder opportunity with the physician owned SMIL Outpatient Imaging Centers
• Internal moonlighting opportunities available

LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW

Southwest Medical Imaging (SMIL) is a 70+ highly subspecialized radiology practice based in Scottsdale, AZ.  In addition to owning and operating nearly 20 outpatient imaging centers in the Valley, we serve a healthcare network consisting of 6 hospitals.  SMIL has a strong reputation of clinical excellence and superior service in all areas of imaging and intervention. We value physician-leadership, teamwork, and clinical quality. We have our own resources dedicated to providing immediate IT and communications support to our physicians, imaging centers, and our hospital system.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Fellows and residents welcome to apply
• Licensed or ability to obtain an Arizona medical license
• Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Neuroradiology fellowship required
• CAQ Preferred
• On the job training for procedures is provided if needed/requested

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $500,000-$600,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
