About the Role

The Remote Patient Monitoring Specialist is a clinical role supporting Vironix's Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program. In this fully remote position, you'll review incoming patient vital sign data, conduct scheduled check-in calls with enrolled patients, and follow Vironix's approved clinical protocols to keep physicians informed between visits.

This is a monitoring-only role — there are no in-person or on-site patient enrollment responsibilities. All work is performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review incoming patient vital sign data (e.g., blood pressure, weight, pulse oximetry) transmitted through connected remote monitoring devices
• Conduct scheduled patient check-in calls on a weekly or monthly basis, per protocol
• Ask patients standardized questions regarding symptoms and medication adherence
• Document each patient interaction accurately and in a timely manner
• Follow Vironix's approved Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) protocols
• Identify vital sign readings or patient responses that meet criteria for clinical escalation
• Escalate concerns promptly to Vironix's RN team for further assessment and direction

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active CMA, CCMA, LPN/LVN, or RN certification/license, as applicable
• Experience taking and interpreting vital signs (blood pressure, weight, pulse oximetry)
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation practices
• Experience with EHR or medical records systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for patient check-in calls
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload in a remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and personal computer/laptop

Preferred: prior experience with virtual care, telehealth, or remote patient monitoring platforms.

Work Location & Eligibility

This is a remote position within the United States, subject to applicable state requirements. It is not currently available to individuals residing in California (CA), Oregon (OR), Washington (WA), Massachusetts (MA), or New York (NY).

Independent Contractor Details

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. That means:

• No employer-provided health insurance or paid time off
• Contractor supplies their own computer/laptop and reliable home internet connection
• Pay schedule: Paid monthly
