Global Head Quality Systems (m/f/d) – Pharma
Location: Remote/Home Office, with occasional travel within Germany
Aufgaben
- Global leadership and strategic oversight of the Quality Systems function, including the management and development of a team of approximately 24 employees, including two direct reports at Head level
- Ensuring the effective implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of global quality systems across all relevant sites and functions
- Establishing and harmonizing quality system standards, processes and governance structures on a global scale
- Driving the optimization and further development of quality-relevant IT systems and digital solutions in close collaboration with IT and business stakeholders
- Ensuring smooth interaction and alignment of all quality-related interfaces across Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing and other key functions
- Acting as global escalation point for critical quality system topics and coordinating cross-functional resolution processes
- Defining and implementing global training strategies related to quality systems to ensure sustainable knowledge transfer and compliance
- Monitoring system performance and quality metrics, identifying improvement opportunities and initiating appropriate global measures
- Supporting inspections and audits related to quality systems and ensuring consistent implementation of regulatory requirements across the organization
Qualifikation
- Scientific degree in Life Sciences, Medicine or Pharmacy
- Extensive professional experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance with a strong focus on global quality systems and governance structures
- Proven leadership experience in managing international teams and complex organizational structures, ideally including the leadership of senior managers
- In-depth knowledge of international GMP requirements and relevant regulatory frameworks in a global environment
- Solid experience in the implementation, harmonization and continuous improvement of quality systems and related processes
- Strong understanding of quality-relevant IT systems and digital solutions, including experience in driving system optimization and transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to manage interfaces across functions and regions and to effectively coordinate global stakeholders
- Experience in handling escalations and leading complex problem-solving processes in a structured and solution-oriented manner
- Excellent analytical, strategic and organizational skills combined with a high level of decision-making capability
- Strong communication skills in an international environment
- Fluency in German (minimum C1) and English
