Cardiac Technician (Weekend Day Shift)
Pay Range: $28–$32/hour (based on experience)
Location: Remote (U.S.) | Preference for candidates near our Des Plaines, IL office

What You’ll Do
- Analyze ECG recordings for accuracy, identifying arrhythmias and significant events.
- Review algorithm findings and ensure all patient reports meet the highest clinical standards.
- Communicate urgent findings to physicians promptly and professionally.
- Contact patients to follow up on reported symptoms.
- Assist patients with device disconnection troubleshooting as needed, supporting continuous, high-quality monitoring.
- Uphold HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality at all times.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Must have at least one of the following credentials: Certified Cardiovascular Technician (CCT), Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT). Applications without one of these credentials will not be considered.
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- At least 1 year of experience in cardiac monitoring OR strong academic background in a cardiac-related field.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, especially cardiology-related terms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- A reliable, private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and stable internet connection.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in cardiac telemetry, Holter scanning, or other ECG interpretation roles.
- College degree in a cardiac-related field, healthcare, or life sciences.
- Located within commuting distance of our Des Plaines, IL office.
Schedule & Training

Status: Full-time, 36 hours per week

Shift: Day shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 7:00 AM–7:00 PM CT)

Weekends: Saturday and Sunday shifts required every week, plus one weekday

Training: 2 weeks, Monday through Friday, during standard business hours
