About Our Client

Our client is a growing, client-centered virtual therapy practice serving children, teens, adults, couples, and families across Ontario. The clinic is committed to providing accessible, evidence-based mental health support while creating a collaborative and supportive environment for therapists.

With a strong administrative infrastructure, established referral pathways, and thoughtfully designed clinical systems, therapists are able to focus on what matters most — building meaningful therapeutic relationships and helping clients create lasting change.

The Opportunity

Do you enjoy helping children, teens, and young adults navigate anxiety, emotional regulation, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, family changes, grief, and other mental health concerns?

We are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the CRPO (not in the qualifying stage) to join a growing virtual practice where a significant portion of the current referral volume involves children and adolescents, with opportunities to work with adults, couples, and families based on your experience and interests.

This role is ideal for a therapist who enjoys building long-term therapeutic relationships, values collaboration, and is looking to grow a sustainable caseload within a supportive team environment.

The clinic provides a steady flow of consultations and referrals, allowing you to focus on clinical care rather than business development.

The Role

As a Registered Psychotherapist, you will deliver virtual therapy services to individuals including children (from age 7 and teens), couples, and/or families, depending on your area of expertise. This role offers a high degree of flexibility, allowing you to set your availability while working within a structured environment designed to support consistency and growth.

A key component of this position is guiding prospective clients through initial consultations and establishing ongoing therapeutic relationships. The clinic provides the leads - your role is to build trust, create connections, and support clients in continuing their care.

Shifts are typically 5–6 hours in length, with most therapists working a combination of afternoon, evening, and weekend hours based on client demand. A typical schedule includes a minimum of three shifts per week, with the opportunity to grow into a fuller caseload over time.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality virtual therapy sessions while building and maintaining a consistent caseload. This includes conducting initial consultations, supporting clients in transitioning into ongoing therapy, and fostering strong therapeutic relationships that encourage retention and progress.

You will also be responsible for completing clinical documentation in a timely manner, with dedicated time built directly into your session schedule. The clinic provides structured templates and systems to support efficiency and consistency in documentation.

While administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, and client intake are managed centrally, you will play an important role in aligning with clinic processes and contributing to a cohesive client experience.

Benefits

This position offers a flexible and supportive environment designed to help therapists focus on clinical work while building a sustainable caseload.

Compensation is structured around clinical hours, with therapists historically earning approximately $65-75 per hour as an employee.  Our client believes in providing the team with the stability and support that comes with employment, including a consistent compensation structure and the resources needed to focus on delivering exceptional work. As an employee, you can concentrate on your career without the administrative responsibilities of operating your own business, such as invoicing, bookkeeping, tax remittances, or managing business expenses.

Therapists are compensated not only for client sessions, but also for late cancellations and no-shows in accordance with clinic policy. Documentation time is built directly into session blocks, minimizing unpaid administrative work.

The role begins with approximately 10-20 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow to 30-35 hours as your caseload develops. There is no minimum guarantee during ramp-up, but the clinic provides consistent consultation opportunities and administrative support to help you build.

All scheduling, billing, and client intake are handled by the administrative team, and therapists are supported by structured clinical frameworks, templates, and a modern practice management system (Jane), along with AI-supported documentation tools.

This is an employee position with flexibility to maintain external work, provided there are no scheduling conflicts.
