Base salary range: $95,000 - $105,000 per year, plus performance-based incentives
Expected starting salary: $95,000 - $97,000 per year

The opportunity

Sensibly Sprouted is hiring a Registered Dietitian Manager with prior experience managing direct reports to independently lead a Dietetics team providing outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). This established management role calls for someone ready to make sound hiring, performance, staffing, operational, and financial decisions and take responsibility for the team’s results.

Internally, this position is called Lead. You’ll lead interviewing and hiring as you build your team, coach and develop the dietitians you manage, and oversee the team as a business unit. Your primary work is leadership. You may provide patient care when needed, but the role has no fixed caseload.

What you’ll do

• Lead interviewing, hiring, and onboarding as you build your team.
• Coach and develop dietitians through regular one-on-ones, clear expectations, feedback, and performance management.
• Own team revenue, profitability, retention, and productive capacity; use financial and performance data to guide decisions.
• Manage staffing, workflows, and priorities while maintaining clinical, documentation, scheduling, and productivity standards.
• Partner with Clinical Excellence on training needs, develop future leaders, and make decisions independently within your authority.

What you’ll bring

• A Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
• Applicable state licensure, or eligibility to obtain required licensure.
• Prior experience as a manager with direct reports, including hiring, coaching, staffing, and performance management.
• Experience using operational and financial data to manage team capacity, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, dependable follow-through, and the ability to make decisions independently.
• Residence in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Utah, or willingness to relocate to one of these states.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Starting pay reflects directly transferable leadership and business capability; growth within the Lead salary range reflects sustained effectiveness in this role.
