Mission and main stakes
The RT&MM is responsible to support business development and technical support in the area of Ruminants Business in the ISC region, with focus on key countries for Dairy, Buffalo farming and Cattle Feed business, including India, Bangladesh, Nepal & Sri Lanka.
The RT&MM defines and implements technical action plans to provide the most appropriate solution portfolio and technical support to customers and partners for the product lines offered to Ruminants. The RT&MM will actively contribute to the achievement of sales objectives in the region together with the Ruminant Sales Managers, the RBM’s, Country Managers, and the partners’ sales force.
The RT&MM provides training for Adisseo sales and marketing forces and contributes to training partners (distributors and agents). The RT&MM will deliver technical contributions at conferences, exhibitions, and other professional events. The RT&MM will help the sales forces in explaining and convincing customers and prospects in the values of Adisseo products and services.
The RT&MM will also be in charge of supporting and developing the technical network in the sub-region through contacts with Key Opinion Leaders based on mutual expertise, recognition and trust.
Besides, the RT&MM is the relay between the global Ruminants team for the SBU (Global Product and Business Development Managers) and the R&I department (Global Technical and Scientific Support team Ru). The RT&MM will have the responsibility to carry out appropriate trials to demonstrate product efficacy under local conditions, in close collaboration with Global Product Managers and the ISC team, and to adapt the solution offer to fit customer expectations. Always in contact with customers, experts, KOLs, … the RT&MM may also be at the origin of new ideas, concepts, and services.
For marketing, the RT&MM will provide input on content and portfolio highlights to the marketing campaigns led by Global and Regional marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Define the product strategy and roadmap for Ruminants in the region
- Train sales force and distributors’ team
- In collaboration with regional sales managers, define product actions plans for key accounts and partners per country
- Visit Key accounts with sales team and bring product support as required in close collaboration with the Global teams (Global Product and Business Development Managers, Global Technical and Scientific Support team)
- Organize field verification trials to document efficacy of Ruminants Specialties with support from the regional technical and sales teams
- Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
- Build Product strategies aligned to market need & supporting delivery of 5-year plan
- Become active contributor to Adisseo’s Service Platform serving our global customers relating to Ruminant Nutrition and Health
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients, build relationships with key opinion leaders and leading universities and institutes in the field of Ruminants
- Co-develop with Regional Marketing Director and Global Marketing the annual campaign calendar for Ruminants in ISC and adapt global marketing campaigns (technical messages, visuals, claims) into regionally relevant customer communications.
- Act as Ruminant brand ambassador at customer events, webinars, and exhibitions, ensuring alignment between technical credibility and marketing narrative.
- Support the adaptation of marketing content and creation of market intelligence (customer and competitor information, market sizing).
- Coordinate with sales teams and distributors to ensure consistent implementation of campaigns and measure outcomes (reach, leads, customer feedback).
- Collaborate on data-driven validation stories linking field trial results to campaign messages.
Accountability
The RT&MM is accountable for
- Technical training of the Adisseo sales and marketing forces, and the distributor/agent representatives in collaboration with the STSM’s technical-sales people and the area sales manager
- Defining and providing technical services and support to customers, distributors and agents
- Elaborating and following up technical action plans with both the Global Ruminants teams and regions to develop and consolidate the products and services

- Internal:
- Global level HQ: Global SBU Team Ruminants (Global Product and Business Development Managers), Global Technical and Scientific Support team Ruminants (R&I), Customer Solution Manager Ruminants (Global marketing team), Flow Pilot Ru (Supply Chain ANA), Market access
- Regional level: Sales managers, Area technical managers STSM, Area Managers, Country Managers, Regional Category Managers, Technologists
- External: KOL, key customers, agents & distributors
Profile Requirements
- MVSc / PhD in topic related to Dairy Farming and Feed Formulation, preferentially related to nutrition and/or health of commercial Ruminants
- Minimum 5 years’ industrial experience in technical management in Ruminants, either as nutritionist/technical manager at the feed mill or as veterinary in Milk/Dairy Feed production
- Good knowledge of Ruminant feed formulation and formulation software
- Ability to define, implement and follow a trial protocol related to nutrition and health of Ruminants under lab and field situations
- Good knowledge of Dairy and Buffalo farming practices in ISC
- Fluent written/verbal communication skills in English
- Able to travel frequently within ISC (at least 50% travel)
- Dynamic personality, customer focus and result oriented
- Manage “the art of influence without authority” to achieve success within a flat organization
