Regional Technical Manager - APAC

About the Role 

The Regional Technical Manager provides technical support across APAC and connects scientific knowledge, customer needs and commercial priorities. 

The role goes beyond routine product support. It requires someone who can understand field challenges, develop relevant technical projects, interpret data and turn complex information into practical recommendations for customers, distributors and sales teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Technical and Customer Support
  
  • Support customers, distributors and sales teams across the region.  
  • Investigate field challenges, recommend practical and technically sound solutions, and involve species leaders or other experts when needed. 
  • Participate in customer meetings, farm visits, technical training and industry events. 
  • Explain complex technical information clearly to both technical and commercial audiences. 
• Trials and Data
  
  • Design and support field trials, technical evaluations and biomonitoring projects. 
  • Define clear objectives, protocols and success criteria. 
  • Interpret technical and performance data and communicate conclusions honestly and clearly. 
  • Turn project results into recommendations, case studies and useful internal knowledge. 
• Product and Commercial Support
  
  • Strengthen product positioning by connecting scientific evidence with customer needs. 
  • Help sales teams communicate the value of Innovad Group's solutions beyond price. 
  • Support strategic customers, product launches and regional commercial opportunities. 
  • Identify where further evidence, expertise or a different technical approach may be needed. 
• Partnerships and Regional Collaboration
  
  • Build relationships with universities, key opinion leaders and other technical partners. 
  • Identify opportunities for research, collaboration and evidence generation. 
  • Work closely with local teams, species leaders, marketing, product management, R&D and colleagues in other regions. 
  • Encourage the sharing of information, experiences and technical insights across APAC and the wider organisation. 

The Profile We Need 

We are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge in animal nutrition, animal health, veterinary science or a related field.  The person should combine scientific credibility with practical thinking and commercial awareness. They should be curious, willing to challenge established approaches and confident enough to take initiative, while remaining focused on company priorities.
Because the role covers Asia, cultural adaptability is essential. The right person will be collaborative, humble, positive and energetic, with the ability to listen, build trust and communicate effectively across different markets.

Success in this role means strengthening Innovad Group's credibility with customers by developing and presenting relevant and insightful technical projects that address real challenges and ultimately support sales. 

The Regional Technical Manager should be able to communicate the value of Innovad Group's solutions and help customers understand their technical and practical benefits.  

The person should also transmit this confidence and energy to local teams, establish the credibility needed to work effectively alongside them, and encourage the open sharing of information across the region. At the same time, the role must remain connected with species leaders, technical experts and colleagues in other regions, ensuring that APAC benefits from the wider knowledge of the group and that regional insights are shared globally.
