The Regional General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, P&L performance, and supply-demand balance across Atlantic Canada and Alberta. They will act as the local representative for the company while driving process improvements and ensuring service quality.

Uride is hiring a Regional General Manager to oversee operations across our cities in Atlantic Canada and Alberta. You’ll focus on maintaining consistent marketplace performance, optimising the balance between supply and demand, and ensuring a reliable rider and driver experience across existing cities. This role is execution-driven, with a strong emphasis on operational discipline, reporting, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Own the P&L and day-to-day operational performance across Atlantic markets, ensuring stability, reliability, and service quality
- Be the face of Uride in the local communities that you oversee for drivers, riders, municipalities and partners
- Monitor and manage key marketplace metrics such as ride volume, fulfilment rate, cancellations, and driver utilisation
- Maintain a healthy supply-demand balance through ongoing driver engagement, retention, and performance management
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to optimise performance
- Partner with Customer Support to manage escalations and improve rider and driver satisfaction
- Work with Marketing to support ongoing campaigns and demand consistency
- Ensure adherence to company policies, service standards, and regional regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular market reviews and provide clear, data-backed recommendations to leadership
- Travel within the region as needed to support operations and maintain local visibility
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in operations, ideally within a marketplace, ride-sharing, logistics, or transportation environment
- Strong experience in business operations reporting and performance tracking
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (data analysis, reporting, dashboards)
- Proven ability to manage ongoing operations across multiple locations or business units
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within Atlantic Canada
Nice to have
- Experience in ride-sharing platforms or ground passenger transportation
- Experience managing driver or field-based workforces
- Exposure to regulatory or compliance requirements in transportation
