WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

This is a full-time position with approximately 20% travel, supporting multi-state clinical operations while maintaining flexibility and balance.

 

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

As Director of Subspecialty Services, you lead our specialty consult programs in the post-acute setting-distinct from internal medicine-shaping how subspecialty care reaches skilled nursing and assisted living residents. In this Regional Clinical Director role, you guide the design, launch, and expansion of consult services across specialties such as cardiology, pulmonology, and nephrology, while working daily with physician specialists, executive leaders, NPs, PAs, and facility teams. You define clinical protocols, oversee quality metrics, mentor providers, and manage multi-site operations. You monitor dashboards, ensure CMS and state compliance, and lead root-cause analyses when needed. Above all, you serve as the clinical connector-aligning specialty strategy, quality, workforce development, and operational execution-advancing MedCap's mission across states and subspecialties.

If you answered yes and can meet the following requirements, we want you as our Regional Clinical Director!

 

Hard Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing (multi-state preferred)
  • 10+ years of NP experience in PALTC, SNF, or LTACH settings
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership, education, or program development
  • Clinical background in cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, or infectious disease
  • Proven success building and leading NPP teams
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, documentation standards, and value-based care
  • Proficiency with EHR systems, dashboards, and care coordination platforms
