We have an exciting opportunity for an R&D External Engagements Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities - What You'll Do:

  • Support the R&D Investor & External Engagement team in planning and executing high-impact engagements with academic, investor, industry, and other key external stakeholder audiences.
  • Conduct research and organize information on universities, partners, industry events, innovation topics, and external stakeholders to support engagement strategy and execution
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners across R&D, Public Affairs, Investor Relations, Strategy, and related functions to support engagement experiences.
  • Complete an intern project connected to external engagement, with the opportunity to share learnings and recommendations with the team.
  • Gain exposure to how R&D partnerships, scientific engagement, investor relations, and stakeholder experiences help advance innovation and business objectives.

Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:

  • Current enrollment at an accredited college or university; undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Interest in agriculture, science, R&D, innovation, communications, business, event management, public affairs, investor relations, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to organize complex information into clear, concise materials.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities.
  • Comfort working collaboratively with a team while also taking ownership of assigned work and asking thoughtful questions when needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; experience with SharePoint or project tracking tools is a plus.
  • Professionalism, curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to work onsite or travel occasionally for engagement activities, events, or team needs, as required.
