Responsibilities


Designs Keysight products and specifies the components that make up the products. Designs and develops products, components, processes, and systems using broad engineering concepts and research techniques. Documents research and design specifications. Solves complex and high impact design and development problems including customer application issue of varying scope and complexity. Uses product and customer applications knowledge to determine, define, develop and validate design concepts and methods. May facilitate transition of product design and enhancements to full production/delivery. May lead product definition/system design for complex features or coordinate a small group in feature development and integration.

 

Key Responsibilities.

  • To define and develop a general purpose measurement solution to meet customer and market demands.
  • To define the system architecture and capture requirements for the new measurement solutions.
  • To collaborate with different team to ensure the product meets system requirements.
  • To actively participate in design verification testing and characterization of the product.

Qualifications


 

Work based competencies:

  • Good knowledge in analog design for low-noise, high accuracy measurements. Deep understanding of ADC/ DAC architectures and samplng theory. 
  • Appreciation of performance trade-offs in measurement design for cost-sensitive and high-volume applications
  • Experience in designing low-level signals, isolation, safety considerations, error budgeting, calibration and metrology fundamentals. 
  • Good understanding of EMC standards, electrical safety regulations and circuit techniques to achieve compliance.
  • Proficiency with software tools such as LTspice, Simulink, Saber, Simplis, Matlab, FPGA simulation etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to write accurate and concise technical documentation including bench evaluations and simulation results.
  • Practical bench skills and confident user of lab equipment.
  • Familiarity with digital circuit design, DSP, microcontrollers, FPGA prototyping and Verilog programming (preferred not a must).
