Quality Assurance

In today’s highly competitive private equity market, firms must not only deliver superior returns but also respond to more stringent reporting requirements and increasing demands for information – both from within and outside their organization. Throughout the industry there is mounting pressure on organizations to do more, requiring a clear technology strategy that not only addresses the demands of today, but also enables the growth and performance of tomorrow. 

What you will be doing:

• Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience as backend tester.
• Hands on experience on Unix or Linux (commands and Scripting)
• Hands on experience or Knowledge of Python scripting
• Database knowledge & Experience on SQL.

• Develops, maintains, and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, utilities, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.

• Work on a core project team alongside software engineers to ensure that quality is built in from the start.

• Support the client Reported Issues and Business to support their queries.

• Performs usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

• Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.

• Controls and manages own daily test activities.

• Supports test lead/Manager to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.

• Experience and use of quality management methods, tools and technology used to create and support defect-free application software that meets needs of client/business partner.

• Agile Scrum process and Exposure to Safe and Valu Stream.

• Advantage to have exposure and experience in other Test Management tools (Jira, Zephyr Scale,wiki)

• Should have good communication skills.

Education Requirements:  

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

 

Added bonus if you have (Desirable skills):

• Good to have CI/CD Exposure like Jenkins.
• Good to have Cloud Natives Technology knowledge.
• AI – GitHub Copilot and M365 Copilot
