About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA Tester with 3+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of applications by designing, executing, and maintaining test plans and cases. You will collaborate with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios (manual and/or automated).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Validate software against business and technical requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis of issues and provide detailed test results.
- Maintain and enhance testing documentation, processes, and standards.
- Ensure testing is completed within deadlines while maintaining quality.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience (manual and/or automation).
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
- Experience with SQL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
