We are seeking a collaborative Research QA Engineer who thrives in a dynamic, multi-project environment, excels in improving test processes and execution, and wants to find good bugs.

Annual Compensation Range: The expected salary range for this role is €40,000–€50,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location

What You Will Do:

• Comprehend and execute test cases (manual and automated)
• Uncover, document, and track defects
• Improve test case execution efficiency and test coverage
• Work in an agile development environment, collaborating with developers and others to deliver quality software iteratively
• Participating in requirements testing
• Be an integral part of the team while continuously participating in improving process and test methodologies, execution efficiency and effectiveness

Skills You'll Need to Have:

• Strong understanding of testing theory and QA best practices, specifically for web services applications
• Solid understanding of distribute architecture and ecosystem
• Familiarity with development and debugging tools for Python, Go, Ruby and React
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing automated test cases using Python and Pytest or Playwright for React
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GHA), including integrating automated tests into workflows
• Proven ability to take ownership of QA processes, ensuring seamless quality management from development to release
• 3+ years of experience in QA roles within agile teams, with a strong focus on desktop application testing
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot complex issues and provide actionable insights
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Ability to mentor team members, drive QA initiatives, and establish robust testing processes

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in Go or Ruby or React to understand codebases, debug issues, and collaborate with
• developers effectively
• Experience with performance and stress testing for web services, including resource monitoring
• and optimization
• Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks, such as Postman, Bruno, or equivalent
• Knowledge of security and privacy standards
• Experience with accessibility testing to ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines
