Role Overview

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and Test Management Tools (such as ALM, Azure DevOps, ADF, Jira/GitHub)
• Strong knowledge of the software development process (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Ability to design and develop automated tests using a framework such as Selenium
• Experience with scripting and programming in C#, Java, and/or python languages
• Knowledge of databases and proficient in SQL.
• Experience with SQL DWH testing, scripting experience for data creation, validation & testing the transformation rules
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts and pipelines

Job Responsibilities

• Document and update test plans and scenarios for testing of varying complexity
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze test results, and document bug reports
• Participate in research and identification of root causes and documentation
• Work closely with other QE team members to understand product requirements and translate them into test scenarios
• Design and develop test automation artifacts (scripts, functions, scenarios, processes, pipelines)
• Work closely with project team to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner

Requirements

Quality Engineers expected to have 2+ years of experience in similar position.  Lead QE expected to have 5+ years of experience and addition leadership skills such as:

• Reporting status and risks/issues to Onsite Management
• Experience in onshore/offshore team structure
• Resource capacity planning
• Review and suggest improvements to the team on test approach and design.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to collaborate with onsite team.
• Attention to detail, analytical & problem-solving skills

Position Summary:

Quality Engineers are responsible for testing and ensuring high-quality software products and data to our clients.  This includes design, development, and automation of tests for our customer-facing and internal applications, and data flow processes.

Offshore Quality Engineers are an extension of the onsite Quality Engineering team.  They design, develop, and automate new test scenarios, as well as execute and maintain existing tests.  QEs report and document bugs found and collaborate with other QEs on the team.
