AI Summary

Own end-to-end quality assurance for a Flutter mobile app, including writing test scripts and executing regression and acceptance testing. Serve as an internal product expert to support Delivery and Customer Success teams during onboarding.

We're building something the automotive world has never seen.

Phyron's AI generates personalised, immersive video tours of every car on a dealership's lot, automatically. We're live across 30+ countries, growing fast, and the product genuinely works. Dealers love it. Buyers convert. The momentum is real.

Our mobile app puts that power in the hands of dealers wherever they are, and it needs to be flawless every time it ships. That's where you come in.

We're looking for a QA Engineer to own quality end to end for our Flutter mobile app. You'll be the last line of defence before anything reaches our customers, and you'll have a defined QA process ready for you to run from day one.

What it's actually like to work here

We think it's worth being honest about the environment you'd be joining, so you can make a good decision.

  • You'll own quality from the start. We trust you to run the QA process and make the call on what's ready to ship, checking in rather than checking up.

  • We work fully async across time zones. Clear written communication isn't a nice-to-have here; it's how the team functions.

  • The pace is genuinely quick. Features move from definition to release faster than you might be used to, and that's by design.

  • We're a lean team, so your work has immediate, visible impact on product quality. There's nowhere for a bug to hide, and nowhere for good work to go unnoticed.

  • The role has two sides. Most of your time is QA, but you'll also be our internal product expert, helping the Delivery and Customer Success teams when app questions come up. If you like understanding a product deeply and being the person who knows how it really works, you'll enjoy this.

If you do your best work with real ownership and space to run your own process, this is a good place to be. If you need close direction and constant sign-off to feel comfortable, this role will stretch you faster than is comfortable.

What you'll do

Quality assurance (the core of the role)

  • Write test scripts from feature definitions and acceptance criteria.

  • Run acceptance testing on every feature build.

  • Execute regression testing on release candidates before they ship.

  • Log, track, and verify bugs through our Jira workflow.

  • Work async with the development team to communicate findings clearly and efficiently.

  • Help build out test automation as the product and team scale.

Implementation & support

  • Answer app-related questions from Delivery and CS when they come up.

  • Act as an internal product expert during customer onboarding and implementations.

  • Feed recurring issues and questions back to the product team so we fix root causes, not symptoms.

What we're looking for

Essential

  • 2–4 years in a QA role, ideally testing mobile apps.

  • Comfortable writing structured test scripts and owning a defined QA process end to end.

  • Hands-on testing experience across both iOS and Android.

  • Familiar with Jira or similar ticket-management tools.

  • Strong written English. You'll work async with a distributed team, so clear writing is essential.

  • Self-directed and structured. You can manage your own workload without close supervision.

Useful

  • Exposure to test automation, or a genuine appetite to grow into it.

  • Experience with Flutter apps or an interest in mobile testing tooling.

  • Background in automotive, photo, or video products.

What you won't find here

  • Layers of sign-off before you can flag or block a release.

  • Meetings that exist to schedule other meetings.

  • A culture where being seen to be busy matters more than shipping quality work.

What you will find

  • A global team building technology that's genuinely novel, and winning with it.

  • Real ownership of quality, paired with real support. We trust you as a professional and want you to succeed.

  • A structured QA process that's defined and ready for you to own from day one.

  • Room to grow into test automation and broader product responsibilities as the team scales.

  • Fully remote working and a culture built around output.

  • Competitive compensation and generous leave.

The details

  • Fully remote, but you'll need to be based in Bangkok.

  • Async-first, working alongside a distributed product and engineering team.

Interested?

Skip the generic cover letter. Tell us about a time you caught something important before it reached customers, what your QA process looked like, and how you communicated it to the team. We'll take it from there.

We'd love to hear from you.
