Within GE Grid Solutions GSI Business Line, the Product Delivery Group (PDG) Procurement Expeditor Leader will proactively work with suppliers to ensure capacity, readiness and raw materials are positioned to support GSI’s future PDG production and delivery schedules.
You will also gain visibility over sub-tier suppliers performance and constraints to help the suppliers influence their sub-tiers and resolve issues affecting their deliveries.

What you’ll do
- Build supplier relationships, create supplier accountability.
- Target low performing suppliers (OTD, responsiveness) and develop RCA / performance improvement plans.
- Drive delivery strategy and execution at assigned suppliers (VMI or direct shipments)
- Identify and resolve input material risks through raw material reviews with assigned suppliers (eg: Electronic component risks for PCBA suppliers)
- Apply early risk identification techniques to deliveries.
- Coordinate with functional experts to resolve those problems before impact to internal customers.
- Regular on-site supplier visits
- Identify capacity risks at suppliers and coordinate mitigation with BV (GE partner) and collaborate with suppliers to execute capacity plans.
- Solve logistics problems to ensure successful delivery outcomes for our customers.
- Communicate timely, articulately, and effectively across key stakeholders at multiple levels of leadership.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED)
- Significant experience in Sourcing, Supplier Management or Supply Chain Manufacturing or Operations
- Fluent English and French language skills
