Job DetailsJob Location: Mammoth Lakes - Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546Position Type: Part TimeJob Shift: VariedMammoth Hospital’s Behavioral Health Department is looking to expand services with the addition of a dedicated part-time psychiatrist to support patients with a wide range of mental health needs. Position Overview We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative integrated behavioral health environment. Someone with experience in working with the child and adolescent population is a plus, possibly board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry.  This is a flexible position ideal for a physician seeking a better work-life balance, reduced hours, or supplemental income. There is an option for this position to be remote tele-health, with occasional need to be in person. Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and case managers to coordinate care Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Participate in case reviews and team meetings as needed Qualifications MD or DO with a valid license to practice psychiatry in California Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry Experience working with diverse populations, including adults and/or adolescents Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with telehealth a plus What We Offer Flexible part-time hours Competitive compensation Floor based pay, plus incentive Supportive, team-oriented environment Opportunities for growth and leadership Telehealth integration and tech support Qualifications
