Are you a passionate Psychiatrist (MD/DO) looking for a flexible, fully remote opportunity to provide high-quality care? At Iris Telehealth, we’re on a mission to expand access to high-quality behavioral health care—and we’d love for you to be part of it.  

We’re looking for a board-certified Psychiatrist licensed in North Carolina to join one of our partners in an outpatient setting, treating patients of all ages. This role offers the flexibility to work 16 hours per week and the support of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team so you can focus on delivering impactful care. You'll work with experts in psychiatry, neurology, and psychology, supported by a robust administrative team, allowing you to focus on patient care.

About the Role:  

  • Setting: 100% Remote | outpatient clinic based in North Carolina

  • Schedule: 16 hrs/wk | Flexible scheduling within Monday - Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm EST

  • Patient Population: Ages 18+ 

  • Primary Diagnoses: Mild to Moderate-acuity patient population with diagnoses including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and co-occuring with SUD.   

  • Appointment Times: 75 min. for initial visits, 30-45 min. for follow-ups. 60 min. administrative time per day. 

  • Support: Dedicated support staff available for administrative tasks, including documentation and prior authorizations 

  • No on-call or NP Supervision required! 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency. 

  • Board Certification in psychiatry required. 
  • Active North Carolina medical license is required 

  • Availability for 16 hours per week during EST hours. 

  • Experience and comfort treating patients 18+ across varying acuity levels. 

  • Telehealth experience preferred (experience using Evolv a plus!) 

  • Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
