Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Remote Telehealth, Maryland
August Rose Health Center | Part-Time Contract (1099)
About us
August Rose Health Center is a CARF-accredited outpatient mental health center and psychiatric rehabilitation program serving Maryland communities since 2018. Our team of 20+ licensed clinicians provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive care to adults, children and adolescents. We're adding a psychiatric prescriber so our clients have more choice and faster access to medication management.
Why prescribers choose us
-
We handle the admin. Our front desk manages scheduling, reminders, intake paperwork and filling cancelled slots.
-
A real team. You'll work alongside therapists, psychiatric rehabilitation staff and case managers, with regular case consultation. You won't be practicing alone.
-
100% remote, with flexible hours. Set a consistent weekly schedule of at least 8 hours that works with your life. Keeping a few hours of private practice on the side is fine.
What you'll do
- Complete psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and ongoing medication management by video
- Treat adults, children and adolescents for mood, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, serious mental illness and co-occurring conditions
- Assess risk at every visit and coordinate with our clinical team on crisis needs
- Document in InSync EHR with e-prescribing (EPCS)
- Handle refills and prior authorizations within 2 business days
- Join virtual treatment team and case consultation meetings
What we expect
Every client should leave a visit feeling heard and respected. We look for prescribers who explain treatment in plain language, welcome questions, and bring patience and warmth to every appointment. Client satisfaction is part of how we measure success.
