Provider Communications Lead - Remote US

Summary

As a Provider Communications Lead at Gainwell, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing provider-facing publications and communications that support Medicaid program operations, provider education, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.

You will serve as a key resource for provider communications, helping ensure published materials are accurate, timely, consistent, easy to understand, and aligned with client and organizational requirements.

Your role in our mission

• Develop, review, edit, and publish provider-facing communications, including newsletters, bulletins, alerts, policy updates, educational materials, and other provider resources.
• Translate complex healthcare policies, regulatory requirements, and operational changes into clear, concise, and actionable communications for healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with business partners, subject matter experts, compliance teams, provider relations teams, and client stakeholders to ensure communications are accurate, consistent, and timely.
• Manage publication schedules, communication calendars, content development, reviews, and approval workflows across multiple projects and deadlines.
• Support provider outreach and education initiatives through written communications, presentations, webinars, training materials, and other educational content.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience developing professional communications, publications, educational materials, or related content, preferably within Medicaid, Medicare, provider relations, managed care, or healthcare operations.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience translating complex healthcare, regulatory, policy, or operational information into clear and actionable communications.
• Experience developing provider-facing publications, communication campaigns, educational materials, or similar professional content.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, healthcare policy, provider services, managed care, or healthcare administration.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
