We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Property Manager to support the operational management of a large industrial real estate portfolio remotely. The ideal candidate will have strong experience coordinating vendors, managing maintenance workflows, handling property management systems, and communicating effectively with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders across multiple locations.
 

Position Overview

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day property management operations remotely for a geographically dispersed industrial portfolio.
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, inspections, and maintenance projects through virtual communication and property management platforms.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on maintenance requests, work orders, inspections, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain accurate digital records, reports, and vendor documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, tenants, and contractors across different time zones.

     

    Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage vendor relationships remotely across trades including HVAC, roofing, fire sprinkler systems, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
  • Review vendor proposals, compare bids, and assist in vendor selection processes.
  • Track maintenance requests, work orders, and capital improvement projects from initiation to completion.
  • Schedule virtual meetings and coordinate property inspections with local vendors or site teams.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance deadlines are met.
  • Prepare reports, track budgets, process invoices, and monitor operational expenses.
  • Provide regular portfolio updates and communicate project status to management.
  • Maintain organized digital files including contracts, warranties, inspection reports, and certificates.
 

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of commercial property management experience, preferably with industrial or multi-site portfolios.
  • Experience working remotely in a fast-paced property management or facilities management environment.
  • Strong vendor management and contractor coordination experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
  • Ability to work during U.S. business hours and respond promptly to operational issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPM, RPA, or FMA are preferred.
  • Experience supporting industrial real estate operations remotely.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, roofing systems, fire safety compliance, and preventive maintenance coordination.
  • Experience with budgeting, reporting, and capital project coordination.
