Project Planner, Granlund

We are now looking for a Project Planner to join Granlund’s industrial and data center projects!

Would you be our new Project Planner?
As a Project Planner at Granlund, you will take responsibility for project schedules and project controls in complex construction, data center, and industrial projects. Acting as the Project Manager’s right hand, you will play a central role in supporting project leadership, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring that projects progress according to plan throughout their lifecycle.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, clients, designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining project schedules, supporting decision-making through project data and reporting, and ensuring that information flows effectively between different parties. Within projects, you will also guide the work of project engineers and help keep project teams aligned around common goals and timelines.

The role combines project planning, coordination, and leadership. Depending on the project portfolio, you may be responsible for one major project or several smaller projects simultaneously. Projects range from commercial developments to large-scale data center projects, with durations varying from a few months to several years.

The position is a full-time and permanent role, and you will be employed directly by Granlund. The role offers a highly flexible working model with the possibility to work remotely from anywhere in Finland. You may also work from any Granlund office according to your own preference. Occasional travel to project sites, typically around once per month, is expected as part of the role.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a construction professional with a strong understanding of how projects move from planning to execution. You have experience in project management, project planning, site management or another project-oriented role within the construction industry. Most importantly, you understand how construction projects are delivered and how different stakeholders, phases, and dependencies come together throughout the project lifecycle.

A relevant educational background in construction or engineering is preferred. You may hold a degree as a Construction Engineer, Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Science in Engineering. You communicate fluently in Finnish and have a good working knowledge of English.

As a person, you are honest, collaborative, and proactive. You are able to communicate confidently with stakeholders at different levels and are comfortable taking ownership of your work. You combine a humble attitude with a structured and solution-oriented approach and enjoy working as part of a professional team where knowledge is shared and success is achieved together.
