Milliman’s CMH Health practice has created an exciting new role for a Project Manager I to deliver structured project management services for the Health practices most common products and services for client and internal engagements. Job responsibilities
- Reporting to the Program Manager, manage individually assigned projects while collaborating with and supporting other Project Managers across team initiatives as needed, to include overseeing multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity and duration, such as technical integrations, new data sources, and product-related initiatives
- Apply standard project management tools and techniques as needed. Tailor approach based on project needs
- Effectively communicate the health of projects to all levels of stakeholders both internal and external
- Learn our business, products, clientele, partners, and internal teams
- Support the implementation of new processes or improvements to existing processes
- Support project leadership in creating detailed project plans including goals, priorities, deliverables, schedule, budget, risks, and resources
- Hold internal constituents at all levels accountable for timelines and commitments
- Document projects with an eye for process improvements to facilitate change
- Facilitate communication across teams
- Speak the “language” of all teams involved, translate between levels and functions
- Work cooperatively and treat clients and coworkers with respect and dignity while valuing individual differences
- Demonstrate commitment to being creative, innovative, flexible, and adaptable, focusing on quality solutions, and continually improving
- Participate in developing the organization’s project management maturity through enhanced project management processes and tools
Minimum requirements
- Two to Four years of professional experience in project management, coordination, or related role, preferably in a project-based environment (previous experience in healthcare, pharmacy, and consulting is beneficial, but not required)
- Continued education, degree, certification(s), and/or professional training in any of the following: economics, business, math, statistics, computer science, information systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
- Familiarity with Project Management Software, tools, methodologies, & best practices

Compensation:
The overall salary range for this role is $78,800 - $145,130. For candidates residing in:
- Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $90,620 - $145,130.
- All other locations the salary range is $78,800 - $126,200.
A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
Location: It is preferred that candidates work in-office at the Chicago, Milwaukee, or Hartford office. Remote candidates will be considered. The expected application deadline for this job is October 30, 2026.
