PART-TIME WINERY PROJECT MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:

River Road Family Vineyards and Winery is seeking an experienced Part-Time Project Manager to work closely with our VP, General Manager to help coordinate and move key winery projects forward.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, resourceful, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently. The right person will have hands-on wine industry experience and understand the many moving pieces involved in taking projects from an idea through production and launch.

This is a remote position averaging approximately
16 hours per week with some flexibility in scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute multiple projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and priorities stay on track.
• Build and maintain clear project plans, trackers, priorities, dependencies, and action-item lists across active initiatives.
• Coordinate new product development projects, including wine, packaging, labels, dry goods, samples, approvals, compliance inputs, production timing, and launch readiness.
• Coordinate across production, sales, vendors, and other partners to gather information, follow up on deliverables, identify roadblocks, and keep projects moving forward.
• Support the development and execution of sales tools, point-of-sale materials, promotional assets, product information, and other customer-facing materials.
• Maintain accurate project files, product information, vintage notes, specifications, approvals, and supporting materials so teams are working from current information.
• Proactively communicate project status, changes, risks, and decisions needed to the VP, General Manager, and appropriate partners.
• Help improve project management processes, tools, and communication practices as the organization continues to grow.
• Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Wine industry experience is required.
• 3+ years of relevant wine-industry experience in project management, project coordination, or a related role.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to independently move projects forward and follow through with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and following up with internal and external partners to keep projects on track.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning project management and collaboration tools
• Working knowledge of wine production, bottling schedules, packaging, dry goods, and supply-chain coordination is a plus.
• Experience with new product development and product launches is a plus.

Schedule & Work Arrangement

• Part-time position averaging approximately 16 hours per week.
• Remote/work-from-home position.
• Some schedule flexibility is available, with availability during business hours as needed for collaboration.
