Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for day-to-day management of overall contractor support operations (oversight and responsibility for coordination with the CRX functional categories, the training installations and the ARNG CRX Program Office, involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations.
- Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and production of all contract support activities.
- Must be able to organize and lead multidisciplinary planning teams to deliver an executive level product with minimum guidance in a short period of time.
- Establishes and alters (as necessary) corporate management structure to direct contract support activities.
- This level of Project Manager typically manages projects up to $150 million plus.
- Travel required ~120-150 days per year.
- Ensure all facets of the CRX program are in sync and prepared to support 15-day ARNG unit exercises that employs the traditional U.S. Army training pillars of: the training unit; an operations group; the operational environment; instrumentation; and facilities; that brings the training experience to a home station.
- Ensure the conditions are set within the CRX program to allow ARNG Commanders the opportunity to assess Mission Essential Task (MET) proficiency in a force-on-force and live fire training environment. This includes a fully instrumented environment that replicates a dynamic Operation Environment with near-peer OPFOR threat and capabilities.
- Acts as the Company representative with the ARNG CRX PM, APM and Contracting Officer and selected subcontractors during the program execution.
- Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
- Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
- May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of ARNG CRX government personnel.
- Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
- Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.
- Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.
- Responsible for developing budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s Degree preferred) in related technical/business field and at least 15 years of related work experience is required.
- Must have a general technical and business background, as well as 5 years previous project management experience on similar or related projects.
- Must have highly relevant experience in managing complex multiple facets of technical efforts.
- Must be capable of leading projects that involve the successful management of multidisciplinary teams who have been involved in analyzing, designing, developing, integrating, training, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining complex systems.
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of Government practices and regulations are also required.
- In addition, must be knowledgeable of ARNG Combat Readiness Exercise (CRX) and Joint Exercise Life Cyle (JELC) and how it is effectively utilized on the project for CRX unit rotational training cycles.
- Must have at least 12 months of Brigade Command experience with either an US Army or ARNG Maneuver or Training Brigade and Combat Training Center (CTC) and CRX experience.
- Must possess highly relevant experience working with Headquarters, Department of the Army, US Army National Guard (ARNG), or US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM).
- Preferred experience includes the implementation of training strategies; developing and enhancing proficient battle staffs; employing top tier training management processes; and developing, designing, planning, preparing, supporting, and documenting complex live, virtual, constructive training exercises and events — all in context of the Decisive Action Training Environment.
- Must possess in-depth and current understanding of the missions, functions and structure of the Army’s Infantry, Armor, and Stryker brigade combat teams; in-depth and current understanding of U.S. Army and joint operational doctrine; and in-depth and current understanding of relevant threat force doctrine and tactics
- Must have an active/current Secret clearance
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
