Project Manager

Project Manager-Remote

Brand Avenue, a division of Lee Enterprises, is seeking a project manager to coordinate the life cycle of Brand Avenue projects. The project manager is the intermediary and subject manager expert between sales representatives, clients, the Brand Avenue content creation teams, distribution parties, and other partners and stakeholders to ensure the success of strategic and branded content projects.

This role is responsible to:

• Assist with strategic and custom branded content projects, from initial kick-off to final delivery of projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope

• Lead and participate in project status update conversations, providing ongoing, timely, and accurate project updates to all necessary parties (internally and externally), while proactively offering guidance and expertise to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction

• Work with team members and fulfillment parties as necessary to troubleshoot issues related to projects including delivery and communication

• Participate in internal and external meetings as necessary, bringing subject matter expertise to conversations about project delivery, capabilities, timelines, and more

• Serve as the glue at the center of a cross-functional agency team including account management, creative, strategy, analytics and content development

• Maintain a deep knowledge of Brand Ave. Studios’ solutions

• Offer guidance and expertise to internal teams, account managers, and clients, ensuring program success and client satisfaction

• Respond to requests and communication with a response or confirmation receipt within turnaround times provided by leadership

The ideal candidate will have:

• Skills in utilizing project management tools effectively and efficiently

• The ability to stay up-to-date and maintain a thorough understanding of digital marketing industry news and advancements, consumer trends, marketing and advertising best practices, advertising platforms and features, and internal product and service offerings

• Skills in approaching all situations with a ‘can-do’ attitude and aim to find solutions in areas of challenge

• Skills in exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• 3 or more years of experience in media project management is preferred

• A bachelor’s degree from a college or university and a minimum of one year of relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience in branding, marketing, advertising
