This position will manage projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements. The Project Manager will coordinate subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders to drive successful project execution.

This is a remote position with some travel required.

The salary range for this role is $110,000-$125,000 annually

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties, but not all duties performed for this position. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Plan and manage construction project schedules to ensure on-time completion.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, quality expectations, and security protocols.
  • Develop project cost estimates and support budget management.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organization and communication.
  • Lead and document meetings with customers and subcontractors, resolving issues to keep projects on track.
  • Provide effective leadership to maximize productivity and deliver successful project outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Experience in Federal construction
  • Must have knowledge about every stage of the construction process from scope development to project closeout
  • Five (5+) years construction experience
  • 30 hour OSHA Construction Safety Training
  • Must be familiar with the requirements of EM385-1 and OSHA, and have experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance

Additional Qualifying Factors:

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

Necessary Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to: hard hats, steel toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness.

Working Conditions:

Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations.  The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.   Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.
