  • Champion best practice across interactive fiction writing and narrative design.
Team Leadership
  • Line manage and develop a team of writers across different experience levels.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and development conversations.
  • Coach writers to improve their storytelling, technical writing and delivery.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Product, Production, QA, Art and Design.
  • Work closely with external IP partners throughout development.
  • Present creative ideas, narrative documentation and project updates with confidence.
  • Balance creative ambition with gameplay, monetisation and production requirements.

  • Experience leading writers or narrative teams on large-scale creative projects.
  • Excellent editing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of branching narrative, player agency and interactive storytelling.
  • Experience working with licensed IP or established brands.
  • Excellent planning, prioritisation and project management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative, positive and solutions-focused approach to leadership.

Desirable Experience
  • Experience working on mobile free-to-play games.
  • Experience supporting live service products.
  • Familiarity with narrative design tools and scripting pipelines.
  • Experience using player data and insights to inform narrative decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with external licensors or commercial partners.
