The role

As a Project Engineer specialising in Genetics Solutions, you will implement Clinisys laboratory software for customers operating within genetics and molecular diagnostics environments. You will combine knowledge of genetics laboratory workflows with system configuration and customer-facing project delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver implementation services, including requirements analysis, gap-fit workshops, system configuration, testing and validation support.

  • Analyse genetics laboratory workflows and translate customer and operational requirements into effective system configurations.

  • Manage assigned project tasks or small implementation projects in line with agreed plans, budgets and customer requirements.

  • Identify functional and technical risks, propose mitigation measures and keep the Project Manager informed of progress.

  • Deliver customer training, project handovers, system updates and upgrades.

  • Document implementation activities accurately and provide support to Customer Services, Support and Sales when required.

Experience and qualification

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in genetics, molecular biology, biomedical science or a related discipline.

  • Practical knowledge of genetics and/or molecular diagnostics laboratory processes and terminology.

  • Experience implementing, configuring or supporting LIS, LIMS or comparable laboratory software.

  • Experience in requirements gathering and translating laboratory workflows into software configurations.

  • Knowledge of testing, validation and controlled implementation processes within laboratory environments.

  • Fluent German and professional proficiency in English.

Salary: €69305 – €86632 – €103958 (per annum, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications)

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Durchführung von Implementierungsleistungen, einschließlich Anforderungsanalyse, Gap-Fit-Workshops, Systemkonfiguration, Tests und Unterstützung bei der Validierung.

  • Analyse genetischer Laborabläufe und Überführung fachlicher und betrieblicher Anforderungen in geeignete Systemkonfigurationen.

  • Steuerung zugewiesener Projektaufgaben oder kleinerer Implementierungsprojekte gemäß vereinbarten Plänen, Budgets und Kundenanforderungen.

  • Identifikation fachlicher und technischer Risiken, Erarbeitung geeigneter Maßnahmen und regelmäßige Information der Projektleitung über den Fortschritt.

  • Durchführung von Kundenschulungen, Projektübergaben sowie Systemupdates und Upgrades.

  • Vollständige Dokumentation der Implementierungsaktivitäten sowie Unterstützung von Customer Services, Support und Sales bei Bedarf.

Erfahrung und Qualifikationen

  • Hochschulabschluss oder gleichwertige Berufserfahrung in Genetik, Molekularbiologie, Biomedizin oder einem vergleichbaren Fachgebiet.

  • Praktische Kenntnisse genetischer und/oder molekulardiagnostischer Laborprozesse sowie der zugehörigen Fachterminologie.

  • Erfahrung mit der Implementierung, Konfiguration oder Betreuung von LIS, LIMS oder vergleichbaren Laborsystemen.

  • Erfahrung in der Anforderungsaufnahme und Umsetzung von Laborabläufen in geeigenete Softwarekonfigurationen.

  • Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Test, Validierung und kontrollierte Implementierungsprozesse in Laborumgebungen.

  • Fließende Deutschkenntnisse sowie gute berufsbezogene Englischkennnisse.

Jahresgehalt: 69.305 € – 86.632 € – 103.958 € brutto (abhängig von Berufserfahrung, Kenntnissen und Qualifikationen)
