Role Summary
The Project Controls Coordinator is a critical execution role responsible for driving coordination, communication, and accountability across multiple data center commissioning projects.
This is not an administrative role.
The Project Controls Coordinator must be:
- Highly resourceful

- Capable of managing multiple Construction Managers across multiple projects
This role serves as a central communication hub and accountability driver, ensuring that project expectations are clearly defined, communicated, tracked, and enforced.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate commissioning activities across multiple active projects simultaneously
- Manage communication between Construction Managers, vendors, OEMs, and internal teams
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and critical deadlines
- Identify risks, gaps, and delays early—and drive resolution
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as a primary point of contact across multiple stakeholders
- Lead and actively participate in large project calls via Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and confidently in high-visibility settings
- Ensure all stakeholders understand expectations, timelines, and responsibilities
Accountability & Follow-Through
- Maintain and actively manage action item logs and issue trackers
- Drive follow-up on all outstanding items until closure
- Hold internal and external stakeholders accountable to commitments
- Escalate issues early when commitments are not being met
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
- Track commissioning progress, testing status, and issue resolution
- Prepare and distribute clear meeting notes with defined ownership and deadlines
- Support reporting for project status, risks, and performance
Business & Technical Awareness
- Develop working knowledge of commissioning processes and data center cooling systems:
- AHUs / DAHUs
- CRAHs
- Chillers
- Controls systems
- Understand how project delays, decisions, and coordination impact cost, schedule, and execution
