Project Accounting Analyst

The Project Accounting Analyst supports the financial management of the company's Data Centre projects by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing monthly revenue calculations, forecasting project revenue and cash flow, and ensuring compliance with company policies and US GAAP requirements.

This is a highly hands-on role involving extensive use of Oracle ERP and Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager and Global Finance teams to prepare accurate financial information, maintain manual reporting schedules, and support the monthly close.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract and analyse project financial information from Oracle ERP.

• Review project-related transactions and ensure project costs are correctly identified and allocated.

• Prepare monthly project revenue calculations in accordance with company policies and US GAAP guidance.

• Maintain project financial schedules and supporting documentation.

• Assist with project cost tracking and reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly revenue and cash flow forecasts.

• Support month-end and year-end close activities related to projects.

• Update reporting templates and supporting files.

• Ensure project financial information is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

• Assist with internal and external audit requests.

• Assist the Finance team with accounting tasks during peak periods.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• 3–5 years' experience in accounting or project accounting.

• Experience using Oracle ERP.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience preparing reconciliations and financial reports.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of financial data.

Preferred

• Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing or other project-based environments.

• Understanding of US GAAP or IFRS revenue recognition principles.

• Experience working in a multinational organisation.
