Job Description:

The Program Execution Analyst Principal serves as a senior strategist and execution leader supporting the Federal Health account with a primary focus on Veterans Affairs (VA) programs. This role ensures operational excellence across complex, multi-year initiatives by driving performance, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and aligning delivery activities with VA and organizational strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Execution

• Lead execution across large-scale VA programs, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.
• Develop and maintain detailed program plans, risk registers, and performance dashboards to promote operational discipline.
• Drive issue resolution, action tracking, and dependency management across internal teams and partners.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as a senior point of contact for VA stakeholders, ensuring alignment with evolving needs and priorities.
• Prepare and deliver program updates, executive briefings, and performance reports for VA and internal leadership.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Conduct advanced analyses to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure measurable program outcomes.

Operational Excellence

• Lead continuous improvement activities to optimize efficiency and reduce program risk.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, organizational policies, and federal health regulations.
• Collaborate with finance, contracting, and project teams to support forecasting, resource planning, and budget adherence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate across technical, clinical, operations, and business teams to maintain cohesive program delivery.
• Mentor and support junior analysts and project staff to strengthen execution capabilities across the account.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, health administration, analytics, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in federal program management, program analysis, or operational leadership, preferably supporting VA or federal health agencies.
• Demonstrated experience leading execution across complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting operational, financial, and performance data.
• Excellent communication skills, including senior-level briefing and stakeholder engagement experience.

 

The likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
