AI Summary

The Product Marketing Manager will own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution across a growing portfolio of game technology products. They will act as a bridge between product/studio teams and marketing while flexing into brand and partnership initiatives.
Mythical Games is a venture-backed game technology company powering the next generation of players, games, and studios. We build exceptional video games and technology that help developers create new player experiences.

At Mythical, we’re proud of our People First culture. We believe great products are built by great teams, and we aim to create an environment where people can do meaningful work while living fulfilling lives outside of work.

The Product Marketing Manager will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager and will own product marketing across our growing portfolio, turning what our teams build into clear positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution that lands in a fast-changing, social and creator-driven landscape, while also flexing into brand and partnerships as priorities shift. This role serves as a key connection point between our product and studio teams and marketing, translating what our teams build into launch-ready go-to-market plans and execution, today across Mythical Games products like FIFA Rivals and DMarket, and across new products as the portfolio expands.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, self-directed marketer who can take an initiative, whether assigned or self-identified, from planning to execution with minimal oversight. Working within the overarching strategy set by the Senior Marketing Manager, they will own product marketing as their home base while also flexing across brand, partnerships, and content as priorities shift, acting as a force multiplier for the team. This role requires strong, experience-driven marketing judgment, the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced startup environment, including fluency with AI and modern marketing tools to work efficiently and scale their output.

This role is open to candidates based in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, and Texas. At this time, we are not able to consider candidates located outside of these states for this opening.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.
  • 4+ years of marketing experience with demonstrated product marketing experience (positioning, messaging, and go-to-market), plus range across brand, partnerships, or general marketing, ideally including time in a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently scope, plan, and execute marketing initiatives from concept through delivery with minimal oversight.
  • Strong marketing judgment grounded in hands-on experience, with the ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Fluency with AI tools to drive efficiency and scale output.
  • A genuine self-starter who identifies and drives the right next move rather than waiting to be handed one, and who can run their own lane without day-to-day direction.
  • Depth in product marketing paired with a generalist's range across brand, partnerships, and content, comfortable anchoring in PMM while flexing into adjacent areas as needed.
  • A feel for social-native, creator-style content and what makes a product socially legible and shareable, even if execution is shared across the team.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, creative, or studio teams to bring products to market.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities.
  • Background in gaming, entertainment, or consumer products (must-have).
  • Enterprise software experience (nice-to-have).
  • Own product marketing across the portfolio, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning, and drive launches end to end, from narrative through execution.
  • Serve as a connection point between product and studio teams and marketing, translating product roadmaps into positioning, go-to-market strategy, and launch plans across the portfolio.
  • Initiate or take on product marketing, brand, and partnerships initiatives, scoping each into a clear plan, and executing end to end.
  • Flex across multiple products and workstreams as priorities and timing shift, applying product marketing rigor across the portfolio rather than to a single title.
  • Shape brand and non-performance marketing, including social-native, creator-style content across owned channels (blog and social accounts) and campaigns outside of paid and user acquisition.
  • Activate and help execute brand and licensing partnerships sourced at the studio level, coordinating across internal teams and external partners.
  • Partner closely with the growth and lifecycle team to align brand and product marketing with acquisition and retention efforts, including coordinating lifecycle and CRM touchpoints that support launches and partnerships.
  • Provide clear, regular updates on the status and impact of product marketing, brand, and partnership workstreams.
Eligible employees may participate in a comprehensive benefits program that includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), flexible PTO, paid holidays, parental leave, and additional wellness and work-life benefits.
