The Role

We're hiring a Product Manager, AI to own how AI shows up across RemotePass, from early experiments to production features used by customers running global payroll, compliance, and payments. You'll sit in the Product & Operations team and work directly with the CEO, engineers, and operators.

This isn't a typical PM role. The challenge isn't adding AI. It's making AI useful in messy, high-stakes workflows where a wrong answer can mean a missed payroll or a compliance breach.

A lot of this isn't defined yet. That's the point, and the scope is real from day one.

What You'll Do

• Set AI product direction. Define where AI goes at RemotePass: not just individual features, but how AI fits into the core platform.
• Decide what to automate. Work out where AI genuinely removes friction, where humans should stay in control, and where AI shouldn't exist at all.
• Make complex data usable. Shape how customers interact with payroll, compliance, and payments data through AI.
• Turn real problems into product. Go deep on user problems across payroll, compliance, and operations. Connect what AI can do to real customer use cases, and turn ambiguity into clear product decisions.
• Own the trade-offs. Make the calls between speed, accuracy, and trust in AI-driven workflows.
• Ship, test, and scale. Work closely with engineering to ship and iterate quickly, taking features from early stage to usable to scalable.

Requirements

• 5+ years in product management, with a track record of shipping products in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Experience building AI- or data-heavy products. You don't need to be an ML expert, but you understand how models behave, where they fail, and what it takes to get them into production.
• Comfortable working hands-on with engineers: writing specs, running experiments, and iterating on feedback.
• Able to operate at both levels: setting strategy and getting into the detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, HR tech, or other complex operational domains.
• Hands-on exposure to LLMs, automation, or AI tooling in production.
