The Product Manager will manage product roadmaps, backlogs, and technical requirements while collaborating with engineering and UX teams to ensure successful delivery. They are also responsible for managing stakeholder expectations, supporting go-to-market strategies, and gathering customer insights.
Manage Roadmaps & Backlogs: Maintain regular backlog grooming and prioritization to ensure on-time delivery aligned with organizational commitments.
Define Requirements: Write technical specifications, clear user stories, and acceptance criteria; collaborate continuously with engineering to refine requirements.
Evaluate Tradeoffs: Partner with technical leaders to evaluate engineering effort against business value, making informed product and feature tradeoffs.
Scrum Ownership: Actively participate in all Agile/Scrum ceremonies and partner with Scrum Masters and technical leads to unblock execution.
Technical & UX Alignment: Ensure technical designs, UX outlines, and documentation strictly align with core product requirements and vision.
Daily Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional team members daily to keep delivery on track.
Voice of the Customer: Gather and synthesize feedback from both internal users and external stakeholders.
UX & Flowcharting: Partner with UX teams to build low-fidelity wireframes, workflow diagrams, and flowcharts to clarify complex requirements.
Sales & Marketing Enablement: Assist sales teams with product demos and opportunities; partner with marketing on external Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and materials.
Release Communication: Organize, curate, and communicate release notes to internal and external stakeholders.
Expectation Management: Actively manage stakeholder expectations regarding bug prioritization, feature requests, and delivery timelines.
Collateral Support: Assist leadership in drafting product collateral and executive updates.
2 to 5 years of professional product management experience.
Technical Experience: Proven track record of building and shipping technical software products.
Agile & SDLC: Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
GTM Experience: Demonstrated experience building and executing Go-To-Market (GTM) plans for launching new products or features.
Experience in one or more of the following domains:
Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Software as a Service (SaaS)
Big Data
Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML)
Developer Empathy: Ability to understand software developer needs (both internal and external) and translate them into clear documentation, diagrams, PRDs, and user stories.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled at leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to guide product feature decisions.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Critical Thinking: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
