This is Us

Ingenious Lion is a Digital Tech Hub designed exclusively for Publicis Groupe, one of the world’s leading marketing agencies.

As the marketing industry continues to drive digital transformation, Publicis Groupe empowers its clients with innovative data solutions and media ecosystems. Ingenious Lion has one mission: to partner with Publicis’ global teams in creating innovative data and digital tech products that will shape the future.

What makes us successful? Two key ingredients: we seek the good and the best, meaning we cultivate a thriving company culture. We’re all about creating an environment where people don’t just work; they grow, challenge themselves, strive for excellence, and are recognized for their incredible value to the team.

If you’re curious to learn more about us, here are four things you should know:

  • Our company culture is anchored in five powerful values: Joy, Honesty, Connectivity, Own Challenger, and Greater World. Do these values resonate with you?

  • We are committed to diversity and inclusion because we believe our unique differences make us stronger.

  • We encourage open communication and create an environment where everyone’s voice is heard and every contribution is valued.

  • Finally, we’re somewhat “obsessed” with quality. We believe in continuous learning and knowledge sharing; when we hit a roadblock, we don’t just complain, we create solutions to overcome it.

In one sentence, we are a group of people with an unusual aptitude for generating great ideas, groundbreaking concepts, and infusing them with positive energy and good fun.

A Sneak Peek at Your Future Role

The product organisation here is built around two complementary roles working in close partnership. The Business Product Manager owns market fit, client relationships, and business requirements. You own the other half: delivery, technical specification, and execution.

You are joining at a moment when the product landscape is still being defined, so your priority is to get up to speed quickly, understand what is already working, and create structure where there is currently ambiguity.

This is not a role for someone who wants to maintain a system someone else built. It is for someone who thrives on catching up, mapping complexity, and turning it into a clear plan others can execute.

Here Are the Key Tasks You’ll Be Working on Every Day

  • Get to know the existing products, understand what has been built, what is in progress, what is planned, and become the person who holds that context.

  • Work closely with the Business Product Manager to capture business requirements and translate them into structured technical specifications the engineering team can act on.

  • Own the Product Backlog, define, prioritize, and refine items with clear work breakdown structures, estimates, and acceptance criteria.

  • Manage dependencies across teams, track delivery progress, and proactively communicate risks and blockers to stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain product roadmaps that align upcoming features and initiatives with delivery capacity.

  • Pick up ongoing features and initiatives already in production and ensure they work.

  • Serve as the day-to-day link between the engineering teams and the business side, keeping both aligned and unblocked.

  • Support the team in progressively introducing structured practices and delivery processes as the organisation scales.

We’re Thrilled to Have You Consider Joining Our Team. Here Are the Qualifications We’re Seeking

  • At least three years of experience in a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, Delivery Manager, or equivalent role in a software product environment.

  • Proven ability to absorb and map complex product landscapes.

  • Strong experience with backlog management, work breakdown structures, estimations, and delivery tracking.

  • Solid technical understanding of modern software development processes and delivery challenges.

  • Experience managing dependencies across multiple teams or workstreams.

  • Strong communication skills, able to align technical and non-technical stakeholders across both the business and engineering sides.

  • Hands-on experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog and delivery management.

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Skills That Would Make You Shine Even Brighter!

  • You are accustomed to managing multiple products simultaneously.

  • You are familiar with AI tools in a product or delivery context.

  • German language is a plus.

  • Background in media, advertising, or AdTech.
