Are you looking to have an impact and be part of something special, such as shaping the future of healthcare?

Do you want to be the person who truly understands what French healthcare professionals need — and translates that into product decisions that matter? Are you excited by the prospect of navigating a complex, highly regulated market and turning those constraints into genuine opportunities for innovation? Could you see yourself being the bridge between users, regulatory bodies, and product teams in one of Europe's fastest-growing healthtech companies?

Sound like you? Keep reading.
At Semble, we are on a mission to enable health professionals to amplify their impact. We improve the way healthcare is delivered to millions of people by providing doctors and their teams with powerful, innovative, intuitive, and secure software. Our cloud-based clinical system is already used by thousands of clinicians, making their lives easier and saving them money, while structuring their health data to help research.
We are a passionate and driven team, proud to unite under strong cultural drivers:

  • Impact– We do work that matters.
  • Collaboration– We are in it together.
  • Human touch– We care deeply.

We are also quick to embrace new technologies: we have rapidly adopted AI internally, and we are always looking to work with people who are excited to augment their work with AI.
This role can be fully remote in the UK and France (with regular travel to our London or Paris offices). We are unfortunately not able to consider candidates located outside these locations at this stage.

The role
This role sits within the Product team and reports into the France Product Discovery Lead. You will work closely with Engineering and Design teams, Product Managers, delivery teams, and a range of external organisations including CNDA, ANS, HAS, GIE Sesam-Vitale, and other relevant certification bodies and authorities.

What you will be doing

  • Lead product discovery for the French market— define, structure and run discovery activities including user interviews, field observations, co-design workshops and desk research to develop a deep understanding of users' needs, behaviours, pain points and expectations.
  • Drive regulatory discovery and compliance— analyse and interpret French regulatory frameworks applicable to Semble products, support teams in understanding their impact, and identify opportunities to transform regulatory constraints into features that deliver genuine value to users.
  • Own certification and accreditation management— lead activities required to obtain and maintain certifications, accreditations and listings for the French market; coordinate submissions, manage interactions with external bodies, and drive corrective action plans through to approval.
  • Actively contribute to discovery ceremonies— participate in Explore, Scope and Shape phases alongside Product, Design and Engineering teams through 3-in-a-Box workshops, PRD reviews, Kick-off sessions, and solution reviews; provide the full context teams need to start delivery with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Measure value and drive continuous improvement— define indicators to track adoption, usage and value delivered; monitor product metrics and user feedback; recommend opportunities for enhancement based on data and discovery insights.
  • Share knowledge across the organisation— represent the voice of users and the French market internally; support communication, customer enablement and support teams in understanding new features and their value proposition.

What we are looking for

At this level at Semble, you will be expected to take ownership of your discovery scope, deliver high-quality research and regulatory outputs, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. You bring solid relevant experience and are looking to deepen your impact in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.

Essentials

  • Solid knowledge of the French digital health market, including primary care organisations, workflows, and the regulatory landscape applicable to healthcare software.
  • Proven experience in user research and product discovery — including interview techniques, field observation, user workshops, and qualitative analysis.
  • Experience with French healthcare certifications, accreditations and regulatory listings (e.g. CNDA, ANS, HAS, GIE Sesam-Vitale).
  • Ability to understand complex problems and synthesise them clearly — producing problem statements, research summaries, recommendations, and discovery deliverables.
  • Strong analytical, synthesis and communication skills, with a structured and impact-driven approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.

Nice to have

  • Experience working directly within a product team in a SaaS or digital health environment.
  • Familiarity with agile product development processes and ceremonies (e.g. Explore/Scope/Shape frameworks, 3-in-a-Box workshops).
  • Direct experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, e.g. as a clinician, practice manager, or other healthcare professional (nice-to-have, not mandatory).

What you'll get in return

  • The great feeling of knowing you're doing something that matters: shaping the future of healthcare.
  • €60,000–€70,000(based on your experience and the value you bring).
  • Autonomy and ownership– we'll set the vision and share the context, then we trust you to run with things.
  • Days off: 25 holidays + bank holidays + 3 extra days (birthday and 'feel good' days) — that we will expect you to actually take so you can recharge and rest.
  • Comprehensive health & wellbeing support– including private health insurance, mental health support, and free therapy sessions through Oli.
  • Hybrid & flexible work environment– work from anywhere in France, with flexibility to work across Europe.
  • Get the tech you need– the latest MacBook and your pick of equipment to set up your home office ergonomically.
  • Work alongside an inspiring team– our founders have a successful startup exit, and your future colleagues are knowledgeable innovators in their field.
  • Fantastic office space in Central London/Paris, right outside Monument — with a roof terrace, weekly events, natural light, and the occasional office dog.
  • The usual perks: barista coffee, tea, fruit, happy hours and team activities.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and walks of life, including those from groups typically underrepresented in the technology industry. We also encourage applications from disabled and neurodiverse candidates — if there are any adjustments we can make to support you throughout the recruitment process, please do let us know.
