This position is primarily remote, but requires candidates to reside in the Eastern or Central time zones to support cross‑functional collaboration.
As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll manage the full lifecycle of purchasing activities that keep our teams equipped to serve communities with excellence. You’ll oversee purchase orders, maintain supplier relationships, optimize procurement systems, and partner closely with finance, operations, and cross‑functional teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, proactive, highly organized, and committed to continuous improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Create and manage purchase orders with accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
Maintain detailed order records, including supplier acknowledgements and tracking updates
Support supplier catalog management by maintaining and building catalogs
Administer and optimize the P2P platform, including approval workflows and user onboarding
Facilitate supplier onboarding and negotiate standard payment terms
Maintain and audit contract records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Build and sustain strong supplier relationships while resolving delivery or quality issues
Investigate and resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies (pricing, quantity, receipts)
Identify and resolve procurement and supply chain issues to minimize operational disruptions
Collaborate cross‑functionally to align priorities and drive effective outcomes
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service performance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization and cost savings
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
2–4 years of procurement operations experience
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
Self‑starter with strong judgment, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Skilled in negotiation and cost management
Ability to maintain strong supplier relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
Experience with Procurify (preferred)
Comfortable working in a high‑growth, multi‑state, dynamic environment
