Shape the future of Akamai Cloud using Kubernetes

This role will leverage your Kubernetes and Cloud Native technologies expertise. You will help build the next-generation platform for new products and services. The Golden Path cloud-native platform will be used to bring new products and services to market faster. This involves simplifying their performance, reliability, security, and operational needs.

As a Principal Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:

• Driving the overarching test strategy, framework architecture, and platform quality initiatives across teams.
• Partnering with business leaders and architects to define long-term quality and testing roadmaps.
• Mentoring senior engineers while setting organizational standards for automated continuous deployment testing.
• Championing innovation in cloud-native testing methodologies to accelerate rapid development cycles safely.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold relevant experience in test automation and software platform engineering.
• Demonstrate deep mastery of continuous integration pipelines, infrastructure tools, and platform networking.
• Exhibit expert knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, cloud-native services, Python, Go, and Linux environments.
• Have strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, and security principles.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in designing scalable automation frameworks for complex cloud platform ecosystems.
