Position Overview
We are looking for a Principal Product Management with a strong background in payments orchestration, tokenization, and fraud, risk, and identify products to join our team. This is a hands-on, player-coach role responsible for driving client and user-centered design across our products.
In this role, you will work closely with the engineering team, sales and customers to understand their business objectives to build a product focused on data-driven solutions that enhance payment performance, cost efficiency, and data management excellence. Leveraging your deep knowledge of the payments industry, you will contribute in building AI driven payments products that allows global merchants to optimize their payment strategies, improve conversion rates, manage risks, and gain actionable insights from their data.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Next Generation Unified Commerce Vision
Help define and execute IXOPAY’s next-generation platform strategy - evolving our platform into a modular, scalable, intelligence-driven payments ecosystem.
Drive long-term platform thinking while balancing near-term customer and market priorities.
Own the Tokenization & Risk Product Line
Lead product strategy, roadmap, execution, and lifecycle management for tokenization and risk products.
Develop capabilities across:
Network tokenization
Vault/token lifecycle management
Card account updater services
Fraud prevention and risk orchestration
Authentication and compliance flows
Payment performance optimization
Translate customer needs, market dynamics, and emerging payment trends into differentiated product capabilities.
Drive Platform and Commercial Impact
Work directly with enterprise customers, payment processors, networks, and strategic partners.
Support go-to-market initiatives with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
Define KPIs and success metrics around adoption, payment performance, conversion, token utilization, fraud reduction, and platform scalability.
Promote AI-Enhanced Product Practices
Introduce and operationalize AI-assisted tools to support:
product management basics (e.g., story writing)
accelerated prototyping
research hypothesis testing and synthesis
Help the product organization leverage AI to improve speed and quality.
Required Qualifications
Extensive experience in Product Management, including leadership responsibility in B2B SaaS, fintech, or payments infrastructure.
Deep domain expertise in one or more of:
Payment orchestration
Tokenization
Fraud/risk systems
Payment gateways/acquiring
Payment optimization
Experience building platform products and APIs for enterprise customers.
Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across Product and Engineering organizations.
Experience managing and developing Product Managers.
Strong strategic thinking combined with operational execution excellence.
Preferred Experience
Experience with network tokenization, card lifecycle management, or payment network integrations.
Familiarity with modern payment ecosystems including PSPs, acquirers, issuers, and alternative payment methods.
Experience with machine learning or data-driven payment optimization concepts.
Background working in high-growth fintech or infrastructure/platform companies.
Experience leading globally distributed teams.
Compensation for this role is $175,000 - $190,000 per year, depending on location and level of experience.
