Intapp is recruiting a Principal Consultant to join our Compliance Professional Services team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted functional lead on complex platform implementations, helping professional services firms — including legal, accounting, and consulting organisations — resolve real operational challenges through the configuration and deployment of Intapp compliance software. Your work shapes how clients manage risk, meet their professional obligations, and run their businesses more effectively.

Day to day, you will lead business process analysis, produce clear design documentation, deliver client training, and support cross-functional Intapp teams including Support, Customer Success, and Product. This role requires strong independent judgment, excellent communication skills, and ideally hands-on experience with Intapp Compliance software

What you will do

As a Principal Consultant, you can expect to:

• Lead the functional workstream of implementation projects, acting as the primary point of contact for clients on solution design, configuration, and deployment decisions.
• Conduct business process analysis and translate client operational and strategic goals into well-documented solution designs for Intapp software.
• Deliver tailored product training to client stakeholders on configured solutions, ensuring they are equipped to adopt and sustain the platform.
• Produce clear, organised design documentation that captures configuration decisions and supports both client teams and internal delivery colleagues.
• Collaborate across Intapp functions — including Support, Customer Success, and Product — to share knowledge, maintain implementation collateral, and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Demonstrated experience as a consultant or business analyst, with a track record of delivering complex software implementations or business transformation projects.
• A strong understanding of practice management, operations, or finance-related business activities within professional services firms.
• Experience with conflicts management processes, or direct familiarity with Intapp Compliance software — this is a significant advantage.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation and engage credibly with senior client stakeholders.
• The discipline and flexibility to manage multiple concurrent projects independently, prioritising effectively in a remote working environment.
• Emotional intelligence and interpersonal confidence, with a collaborative approach and the maturity to navigate complex business relationships.
