We are looking for an experienced Power BI / Microsoft Fabric Developer to design and build end-to-end analytics solutions supporting our supply chain and manufacturing operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders to transform data from SAP ERP and other systems into dashboards and semantic models that drive better decisions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and Fabric solutions with a focus on performance, usability, and storytelling.
- Translate supply chain and manufacturing requirements into data models and visualizations such as inventory, production, procurement, logistics, OEE, OTIF, lead times, and supplier performance.
- Ingest and transform data from SAP ERP and other systems into curated data marts and datasets using SQL, Power Query, and Fabric or Azure data services.
- Write and optimize SQL, DAX, and where relevant MDX queries, including performance tuning and debugging.
- Implement and maintain ETL and ELT processes to ensure timely and high-quality data delivery.
- Work with supply chain, manufacturing, and finance stakeholders to understand processes and KPIs, refine requirements, and improve dashboards.
- Apply BI best practices for data modeling, semantic layer design, row-level security, usability, and governance.
- Integrate data from APIs and web services to enrich datasets and automate refreshes.
- Document solutions and provide handover and training when needed.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards with Microsoft Power BI and the Microsoft data stack.
- Strong ability to write complex SQL, DAX, and optionally MDX queries.
- Experience with query optimization and performance troubleshooting.
- Proven experience building interactive dashboards and impactful visualizations.
- Solid experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data mart design.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytical architectures.
- Practical experience with SAP ERP data in a supply chain or manufacturing context, ideally including MM, SD, and PP.
- Working knowledge of ETL tools and technologies such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, DataStage, Talend, or similar.
- Experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob or ADLS storage, or Fabric lake houses and pipelines.
- Experience integrating data from APIs and web services.
