About the Project
Sword Technologies is looking for several Portfolio Managers to join an international communication support team working with the European Commission.

You will work closely with EU Delegations across Africa, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and Central Asia, helping them design and implement strategic communication activities aligned with EU priorities.
Your Responsibilities
As a Portfolio Manager, you will:
Support EU Delegations and Commission teams in defining, implementing, and managing strategic communication actions.
Advise on digital communication strategies, campaigns, and creative content.
Provide feedback and guidance on communication proposals, concepts, and materials.
Assist in managing external communication agencies contracted by EU Delegations.
Coordinate meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to communication strategies.
Contribute to reports, communication plans, and internal briefings.
Ensure knowledge sharing and smooth information flow between teams and partners.
Your Profile
Background and skills
Degree in Communication, Political Science, International Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in communication strategy, campaigning, advertising, or public affairs.
Understanding of EU external action and international cooperation is a strong asset.
Excellent project management and coordination skills.
Strong analytical and drafting abilities with attention to detail.
Diplomatic mindset and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Languages
English (C1) required.
Depending on the assigned region:
Africa: French (C1)
Latin America: Spanish (C1), Portuguese (B2 desirable)
Asia-Pacific: French, Spanish or Portuguese (B1 desirable)
Central Asia: Russian (B2 essential), French (B1 desirable)
