The Opportunity

Policy Retention Associate (Cancellations) – Remote Opportunity (must be located in FL, GA, SC, or PA)

Pay starting at $21.00 per hour

We are seeking to add a Policy Retention Associate to our team. This is a remote opportunity with a schedule of 8:00am – 5:00pm EST. To be considered for this role, you must be located within one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, or Pennsylvania.

Our Policy Retention Team handles the processing of cancellations and reinstatement endorsements on policies per state and company guidelines. Tasks for this role may include issuing notices of cancellation, processing through a high level of emails, and handling calls from various people including Agents, Underwriters, carriers, and finance companies. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly organized with excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and comfort working with numerical data, including basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Issue policy cancellation notices per state guidelines
• Follow-up on cancellation/reinstatement notices with necessary parties
• Handle calls from agents, underwriters, carriers and finance companies
• High level of e-mail
• Accurately reviewing premiums, endorsements, and finance-related documents
• Request endorsements and verify details (Effective dates and Premiums)
• Process PFA (Premium Finance Agreement) Notices
• Issue cancellation and reinstatement endorsements

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.)
• Prior experience handling financial information or monetary transactions is required
• Experience in Policy Retention or Customer Service preferred but not required
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organization skills
• Strong comfortability working with numbers; Prior accounting experience
• Strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player with a commitment to company values
