Key Responsibilities

At Trafilea, you won’t just manage infrastructure — you’ll build and evolve the internal cloud platform that enables engineering teams to deliver software faster, more securely, and with less dependency on infrastructure teams.

We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who can design scalable cloud solutions, automate infrastructure, improve developer experience, and create self-service capabilities for engineering teams.

The platform is treated as a product, and engineering teams are its customers.

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure roles. 

• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating AWS infrastructure in production environments. 

• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS and containerized environments. 

• Strong experience with: 

  Terraform/Terragrunt. 

  Infrastructure as Code. 

  CI/CD pipelines. 

  Cloud automation. 

• Experience with observability tools and reliability practices: 

  Monitoring. 

  Logging. 

  Alerting. 

  Incident management. 

  On-call rotations. 

• Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, and distributed systems. 

• Ability to work with engineering teams and improve developer workflows. 

• Experience taking ownership of technical solutions and driving improvements. 

  Nice to have

• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms. 

• Experience with Golden Paths or self-service engineering tools. 

• Experience with AWS certifications. 

• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization. 

• Experience mentoring engineers or acting as a technical reference. 

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automation workflows.
