\nAs a Platform Engineer, you’ll help our engineering teams ship code faster, safely, and on reliable infrastructure. You'll split your time roughly between:
Embedded Work: Joining domain squads to fix bottlenecks and improve their systems.
Central Platform Work: Building shared tools, infrastructure, and automation for all developers.
AI Integration: Rolling out AI tools across development, code reviews, and incident response.
Internal Tooling: Create feature flags, canary rollouts, and CI/CD pipelines.
Core Infrastructure: Manage and optimise AWS, GitHub, Datadog, and Cloudflare.
Automation: Eliminate repetitive manual tasks for engineering teams, utilising AI tools where you can.
Production Support: Guide squads on managing their own apps using metrics, logs, and SLOs.
AWS & Terraform: Hands-on experience (specifically ECS Fargate, RDS, Lambda, or EventBridge).
CI/CD & Observability: Strong understanding of deployment pipelines and system monitoring.
Modern Tools: Interest in using AI tools in daily software engineering.
Codebases: Comfortable working with application code in Ruby or Python and navigating ambiguous problems.
